Hillhead Quarry 24-06-2014

Tuesday the 24th of June showed the first of the bi-annual Hillhead quarry expo, which features an number of visitors arriving by helicopter. The same field was used as an impromptu heliport as in 2012 although this year the grass hadn't been cut meaning shots of the helicopters parked up were generally obstructed, although good vantage points for departing shots were available from a public footpath running along a disused railway line.
