A short trip down the M6 to the very handily located Otherton for their Heritage Fly-In gave a very nice day out! Heading down with no expectations we were nicely surprised when there was a nice level of activity at the airfield, nothing too hectic (although there was certainly some very busy moments!) but always something going on to have a look at. There was a very friendly atmosphere around the club and the 'FlyingPan' cafe was doing a good trade in high-cholesterol foods, perfect for microlighters! Many thanks to the very kind pilot of G-CCXN for a whiz around the local area to get some snaps of the airfield & it's surroundings!
