This is another place that we've been meaning to get to for a while & things just worked out nicely for us to get there. When we arrived we were told to sign in on the visitors book & then ask for a club member to escort us around the airfield (wearing hi-vis), walking around & talking to pilots there seems to be a real positive attitude about the airfield following a recent re-structure of the club.

Midland Aviation Museum 11-02-2012

This is a museum that we've been meaning to get around for a little while now & things fell into place nicely this weekend to do so! While not the biggest museum this is duly reflected in the admission cost & it represents very good value for money. Getting to sit in the Vulcan was fantastic as well!

Our next stop was at Wellesbounrne, the usual friendly welcome at Heli Air was received & there were a few nice helicopters in the hangar! We got what was in the airfield & left as the visibility around the airfield was pretty poor.
