Thornton Hall Farm 24-04-2011

This location was the launch site for the evening launch from the North West Balloon & Airship Club's Barnoldswick meet. The closest village is Thornton-In-Craven.

Caernarfon (EGCK) 17-04-2011

A few hours in the middle of the day were spent at this coastal airfield. While there was a largely unnecessary amount of disruption caused by a runway inspection things generally were happening at a relaxed pace. I was amazed at how few based aircraft flew!

A nice airfield, after booking in at reception we were free to look around the hangars. Just a shame there seems to be a fair amount less at the airfield than I seem to remember on my last visit.
